The Math and Computing Club is designed to meet the needs of La Sierra University Students, especially those with majors in computer information systems, computer science, engineering, mathematics, and physics.
The Club went informally by the name of MC2, Techné (Tecnh) from 1993 to 2000. In 2000 the officers decided to change the name to Hardwired. After a couple years' hiatus the club has gone back to MC2.
The Club sponsors an annual
university-wide trip to the computer show, COMDEX in Las Vegas during the fall quarter. For
information about our next trip contact Dr
Clarke.
